It's almost boyfriend season ladies!! The season where the sun is shining, the waves are crashing, and the boys are like an ice cream cone on a hot day they just hit the spot. We have on our wedge Micheal Kors sandles, our denim capris and halters on, but our are lips kissable? A must have! Most women don't take the time on our lips like we do other body parts. Rain,rain, go away? Why would we want that? A true fashionista will look at this as an opportunity to wear her most fabu rainwear!! Long gone are the days when you would dread putting on your trucker type rain boots or flasher like rain coat. We live in the day that allows us to be fantastic rain or shine. We just lost an hour for daylight saving time, but we gain more sunlight to show off our fashionable selves! The sun is going down later and the skirts are coming up shorter. Spring fashion is showing up in all the store fronts and soon they'll be hitting the hot city streets. As a curvy girl you definately will not see me in the new harem style pants, because let's face it, a tapered leg on a thin pair of loose straight leg pants not so flattering, however the wide leg pajama pant as seen on the Dolce and Gabbana runway are fantastic in an old hollywood glamour type way. Or the wide leg trouser pant with a silk flower or animal print which are both popping up everywhere this season. My curvy ladies don't ever think you can't wear prints just stick to a good quality one, and limit it to one piece. If your not a wide leg pant type person fitted capris in dark denim, Apple Bottom jeans make a few great styles for the voluptous lady, are another great spring choice. Paired with a form fitting tank or halter for a night out. Halters often scare curvy ladies,but with the right bra the halter can make you look sleeer and sexier. First you must find a bra, not a strapless if your large chested, pick out a good quality, Victoria's Secret now goes up to a 40dd on most bras. Get a converter or halter bra for good support and pick a well fitting halter to pair with your capris or wide leg pant. Many women often underestimate how sexy men find the shoulders and back. For some cute trendy inexpensive tanks, and halters try Dots, they often go up to a size 24 or 3x and start at size 2 or small, the clothing is very hip and trendy and very affordable for the girl on the budget (about 90% of America). Another more expensive trendy plus size store is Torrid, this store is a little more edgey but has some great shirt picks and accessories. As always Target also has some awesomely great and affordable clothing choices from the halter bra to wide legged pants, to outrageously sexy leopard print shirts. When budget shopping don't forget to try and bring your look together with a luxe item or good quality accessory such as an oversized leather bag or couture sunglasses or even a vintaged belt, always try to mix it up. Just because were not a size two doesn't mean we have to look like grandma, because let's face it even grandma is looking pretty hip these days. Always remember the only person worth pleasing is the person who stares back at you in the mirror, just work it.
